La Playa de Lavapiés
The ‘Beach of Lavapiés’ is a laid-back establishment with great love for dogs. When we went around 8 pmish there was a nice place for us inside, it was a bit too cold to stay on the terrace. Being ‘Carmelo’, the only dog there, and to his great pleasure, he quickly became the centre of attention.
La Playa de Lavapiés is a medium sized place with bathrooms. A huge and cozy bar in the middle and really nice and pleasant people working there. Being busy they attended us very well, and we will be back.
‘Carmelo’ was very pleased to get a bowl of water, while some friends and I enjoyed some cocktails. I’m a traditional guy, I know my limits, and therefore as boring as it might be my G+T was excellent. Friends had a Bloody Mary, Caipirinhas and the rest beers.
There is a wide variety of cocktails to dive into and a couple I hadn’t heard about before like the Michelada Playera!
Back to the centre of attention, ‘Carmelo’. There weren’t any treats available, so luckily, we had brought some as backup. Altogether it was a really nice evening, I think I got home around 23.30 pm. and took ‘Carmelo’ for a walk.
